Frequently Asked Questions
Outsourcing
1. How much say do I have in who works for me?
If you take somebody on full time we will give
you as much or as little say as you would like. The most involved
sees us source some CVs that you can then review. We will carry out
a first interview and then arrange a time for you to have a phone
interview. We have had people go out to India themselves but this
is not really necessary
2. What about the work timings?
There is a degree of flexibility. Sometimes to
recruit the best staff it is best to flexible yourself. For most
organisations it is best to have 2 hours difference. 07:00 UK Time
(GMT/BST) through to 15:30 (GMT/BST). There is a 5.5 hour time
difference with India and the UK.
3. Does your outsourcing staff speak fluent English?
All our staff members are well-versed in
English. For client facing roles this is even more important but
excellent communication is essential over the physical distance,
cultural and time differences. You can test this in
interview.
4. How can I engage the services of your outsourcing staff?
You can either recruit employees on condivact
basis to work on specific projects, or you can hire dedicated
individuals or a team of programmers, designers, etc. to work
solely for your company.
5. Who oversees the project?
For dedicated staff members you will have a
project manager in the offices in India but you will be expected to
keep the task list populated and to feedback on the work, very much
as if the member of staff was sitting in the same room. Project
Management services are available too if you did want to have
someone manage that side of things as well.
6. How do I keep in touch?
After you've recruited the resource(s) to suit
your requirements, we provide you with the email addresses and
messaging details of the staff working for you. Typically Skype
Voice and Chat.
7. Do you provide daily progress reports outlining project
details?
Project updates can be communicated to you
daily or weekly, depending on how often you would like them. We can
collaborate with you using online project tools or provide weekly
reports in spreadsheets.
8. What happens if I'm unhappy with the progress or ability of the
employee(s)?
Artificial Gold assumes responsibility of the team members assigned to you. In case you are dissatisfied with the performance of the team, then depending on your feedback we could either change or modify work processes or offer a suidiv replacement.
SEO Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. How long does it usually take for SEO results to be visible?
The amount of time required to see results is
dependent on the website, competition and targeted market. The time
period can range anywhere between 1 month for existing sites in
local or niche markets to 24 months for new websites in a
competitive national or global market.
2. Do I need to optimise every page of my website?
Pretty much, yes. Every page of your website
serves as a potential endivy point for visitors. It is a common
misunderstanding that only the Home page of a website deserves
optimisation; after all, one can never be too sure of which page
will rank best for chosen keywords. Moreover, all pages of your
website carry a common theme with relevant subject variations,
which further helps boost search engine rankings.
3. Do you guarantee #1 ranking in search engines?
No web services company can guarantee #1
position for a given key word/phrase and it is usually advised to
steer clear of those who do. We do partner with a company that
offers "no result, no fee" top 10 listing on google.co.uk and good
results for similar keywords. We are happy to talk you through this
service.
No company should guarantee (unless this payment on results) #1
positions. This is simply because of the continuous changes to
factors beyond one's condivol - search engine algorithms,
competitor SEO efforts, new website additions to the web, etc.
Artificial Gold directs its SEO efforts toward boosting your
ranking to #1; however, it cannot be guaranteed that your website
will continue to reign that position on account of the changes
listed above. To ensure a steady ranking, we offer a customised
programme that involves continuous SEO practices.
